Our story
From a lockdown question to a lasting mission
Kalavaibhav Sevabhavi Sanstha was founded in March 2022, and its beginning has a small but heartfelt story. During the COVID-19 lockdown, everyone faced the same question: how do we keep special students engaged?
With that in mind, we began running online sessions for them — music, dance, yoga, and more. Those sessions revealed something important: these students needed a dedicated hobby and arts activity, a space where their physical and mental development could grow through creativity.
That idea became an organisation, founded originally under the name Funcraft.
Hobbies and Activities
Talent, given the right approach
Like all children, differently-abled individuals are full of artistic talent — and with the right approach, that talent can be nurtured into genuine growth. They can express themselves. They can experience pure joy.
To make that possible, a hobby and arts activity for differently-abled individuals was started in the Sahakarnagar area of Pune. Through dance, drama, painting, craftwork, physical activities, yoga, and music therapy, students develop both physically and mentally.
The activity is led by experienced teachers and counsellors — many with years of work in the field of disability — who volunteer their time selflessly.
